Woman Ejected, Injured in Collision on 5 Freeway Saturday
Avenal, CA (September 18, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a solo-vehicle crashed while traveling south on the freeway near Quebec. Officials said a black SUV rolled over multiple times on Interstate 5. The car came to a rest flipped on its roof.
The CHP logged the incident at about 1 p.m.

Our sources confirmed a female party was ejected during the collision. When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the woman thrown onto the ground and bleeding. Paramedics at the scene attended to the injured party. Due to the serious condition of the woman, an ambulance rushed her to a hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time to determine exactly how and why the car accident in Avenal happened.
