2 Badly Injured in Badlands Crash on 60 Freeway Near Timothy Lane
BADLANDS, CA (March 2, 2023) – Two were badly injured after a crash on the 60 Freeway near Timothy Lane in Badlands.
According to the Patch and My News LA, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck on March 2 at about 10:15 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three cars collided in Badlands between Beaumont and Moreno Valley. The vehicles crashed on the eastbound 60 Freeway, just east of Timothy Lane.
Multiple Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a Ford pickup truck, a BMW hatchback and a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. The incident began when for an unknown reason the Ford slammed into the rear of the BMW.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two drivers hurt. The victims ended up suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to the hospital for treatment. The reports did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the eastbound lanes of the 60 Freeway to shut down near Timothy following the wreck. The cause of the Badlands crash is still under investigation.
