Big Rig Truck Crash 15 Freeway, Halloran Springs Road
BAKER, Calif. (April 27, 2018) — A semi-tractor trailer truck and a Buick collided Friday morning on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at Halloran Springs Road, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 8:01 a.m. The truck went off the roadway and into a ditch. Its driver was transported to University Medical Center with complaints of back pain. The gray Buick Encore SUV crashed into the center divider.
It’s unknown at this time who had the right-of-way and was responsible for this collision. Police are reviewing the evidence and interviews with those involved and witnesses to piece together what happened. Our law firm has fought for victim’s rights and to obtain justice for them for more than a decade. If a negligent driver or entity is at fault for a collision resulting in injuries to you or a loved one, there may be grounds for a civil lawsuit or personal injury claim. While this is always a personal decision, for many the financial losses associated with a traffic accident are significant.
It’s important to note, however, that it’s quite common for insurance companies to try and avoid paying out a claim even when they know their insured is responsible. They may also make an offer to settle for far less than the full amount owed.
