4 Hospitalized after Rollover Crash on Interstate 15 Freeway in Baker
BAKER, Calif. (April 22, 2020) — Four people were airlifted to hospitals after a solo-vehicle rollover crash Monday on the I-15 freeway in Baker.
The collision was reported at 9:22 a.m., on April 20, 2020, on the northbound I-15, between Baker Boulevard and Halloran Summit Road, according to Victor Valley News.
The California Highway Patrol reported the vehicle had been heading southbound at the time of the crash. The injured people were all ejected onto both sides of the roadway during the collision and suffered life-threatening injuries.
The CHP was forced to shut down the I-15 freeway in both directions to allow for the landing of four helicopters to transport the injured to hospitals.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by police.
