BAKER, California (October 6, 2015) — A minor injury car accident involving two drivers was reported Tuesday afternoon on the southbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the Field Road off ramp.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash about 12:37 p.m. when the drivers of a Dodge Caravan and another vehicle collided and were blocking the No. 1 lane. One of the people involved suffered minor leg injuries and requested paramedics to help at the scene. One of the drivers fled the scene and was last spotted driving just north of Harvard, but they eventually pulled over when the car’s bumper fell off onto the ground, a witness told police.
Police will investigate the crash to determine liability.
