2-Semi Tractor Trailer Trucks Crash on I-15 Freeway
BAKER, Calif. (May 27, 2021) — A 15 Freeway truck accident happened early Thursday morning in the Baker area.
Two tractor-trailers collided and caused a temporary closure of all northbound lanes of the I-15 Freeway.
The truck accident happened on the 15 Freeway about 5:19 a.m. on May 27th, according to Victor Valley News.
San Bernardino County Firefighters responded to the freeway crash near MM 143.
Firefighters reported that one of the trucks caught on fire. Additionally, one person involved was critically injured.
Meanwhile, a Mercy Air helicopter airlifted the injured person to a trauma center.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation into liability for the 15 Freeway truck accident.
