BAKERSFIELD, California (November 4, 2014) — Two vehicles overturned Tuesday morning in a crash with a third vehicle on Highway 178 at Isabella Walker Pass road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported about 8:06 a.m. CHP officers and paramedics responded to the crash blocking multiple lanes of the freeway. The Kern County Fire Department was at the scene to assist those who were injured in the crash including one person who was complaining of pain and had a laceration to the chin, the CHP report said.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
“Hopefully those who were hurt in this crash obtain the best possible medical care available for a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
