The accident took place just before 11:00 p.m.
As per the article, Bakersfield police said two men were injured after their car crashed into a parked vehicle on H Street.
The driver was extricated after being pinned inside the car. The motorist was seriously hurt while the passenger suffered injuries described as moderate.
Both were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their names and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, the parked vehicle did not have any occupant at the time of the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
