BAKERSFIELD, California (March 2, 2017) – Three were injured, at least one critically, in a traffic collision on Kimberlina Road Thursday, according to The Bakersfield Now.
The accident involving two vehicles took place near Highway 99.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a red Mustang was going east on Kimberlina Road when its driver tried to make a left turn. A blue Malibu headed west at the same time then hit the Mustang as it was reportedly making the turn.
CHP affirmed that the male passenger in the Mustang was taken to a local hospital with injuries described as major. Two other people were also hurt, however, the extent of their injuries remained unknown.
The names of the patients were not immediately released.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
