BAKERSFIELD, California – According to Bakersfield Now, a DUI crash left five injured leaving one man behind bars following a crash Wednesday evening on Highway 178.
The accident was logged on March 22 at 8:43 p.m.
Authorities report that Miguel Zamora, 22, of Visalia, was the driver of a vehicle who crossed over the double yellows into oncoming traffic on a blind curve and struck another vehicle driven by a 53-year-old woman of Weldon.
Bakersfield Now confirmed that the woman was moderately injured and rushed to a hospital.
Meanwhile, Zamora had three passengers accompanying him ages ranging from 16 to 33 all of who were injured and hospitalized.
Police officials arrested Zamora Thursday morning after being treated at the hospital on suspicion of driving under the influence.
