BAKERSFIELD, California (Thursday, December 10, 2015) – A vehicle struck a bicyclist at the intersection of Oswell Street and Virginia Avenue. The collision caused a dangerous traffic hazard.
The bicyclist was already unconscious and not breathing when emergency crew arrived. He was pronounced dead minutes later. The coroner confirmed the victim’s death. The incident was reported too by 23ABC News.
The accident occurred at about 5:16 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Bakersfield. The driver’s vehicle was taken into evidence and towed by Randy’s Towing.
