2 Injured in Bakersfield Crash at Brundage and Hughes Friday
BAKERSFIELD (October 5, 2018) – Two were injured after a traffic collision in the area of Brundage and Hughes lanes on Friday morning, according to Bakersfield Now and Kern Golden Empire.
The accident was reported at around 10 a.m.
As per the reports, police said two vehicles were traveling west when for an unknown reason they collided at the intersection of Brundage and Hughes lanes.

The impact of the crash forced one of the cars involved into a power pole. The power was knocked out for more than 2,600 customers as a result of the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the drivers of both vehicles who suffered minor to moderate injuries in the incident. Both motorists were apparently transported to the hospital for treatment.
The names and condition of the patients at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, police believed that speed played a role in the collision which is still under investigation.

A forensic examination of the two vehicles, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators determine which party ultimately caused the crash.
