Major Injury Collision at State Route 223 and Union Avenue Wednesday
Bakersfield, CA (August 25, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following car accident that occurred on State Route 223, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated two vehicles collided at the intersection Highway 223 and S Union Avenue. Our sources indicated the driver of a green sedan veered into the opposite traffic lane; in an attempt to pass another vehicle.
According to the CHP dispatch, the green sedan crashed into another automobile. The make and model of the second vehicle involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 9:09 a.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the incident.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car accident on State Route 223 in Bakersfield.
