Passenger Hospitalized After Car Crash Near The Park at River Walk Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (April 10, 2021) – One person suffered serious injuries following a car accident on Stockdale Highway at Buena Vista Road Saturday.
The KGET News reported a vehicle with at least two occupants ran a red light at the intersection of Stockdale and Buena Vista in Southwest Bakersfield. Another motorist who had a green light drove through the intersection. Subsequently, the two cars crashed at the junction.

Shortly after 10 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the site and rendered aid to the possible victims. Our sources later confirmed a passenger in the vehicle that ran a red light suffered serious injuries. An ambulance rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the conditions of other parties involved in the crash remained unknown.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car accident on Stockdale Highway.
