Major Injury Collision at Mount Vernon Avenue Offramp Friday
Bakersfield, CA (April 2, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident on Highway 178 in Bakersfield Friday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided on SR-178 at the Mount Vernon Avenue offramp. First responders found at the scene a white van and a blue Nissan.
For reasons still unclear, the two automobiles crashed on SR-178 at the Mount Vernon Avenue offramp. The collision took place around 8:35 p.m.

Medical personnel arrived at the accident scene and rendered aid to possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries in the wreck. An ambulance was later called to transfer the patient to a hospital for treatment.
