Child, 3, Critical After Collision at 24th Street and Chester Avenue Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (October 9, 2021) – A toddler suffered serious injuries following a car crash that occurred in the area of 24th Street and Chester Avenue Saturday morning.
The ABC23 News published an article online indicating a traffic collision took place at the Bakersfield intersection around 11 a.m. Preliminary investigation revealed a motorist apparently ran a red light and hit a another car at the crossing of 24th and Chester.
Toddler Hospitalized After Car Crash in Bakersfield, October 9
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a 3-year-old child not properly buckled into the car seat. Authorities said the toddler was rushed to the hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.
No immediate information was available on the car crash that occurred at 24th Street and Chester Avenue. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
