At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at Coffee Road and Olive Drive

Bakersfield, CA (February 18, 2023) – A traffic accident that occurred in the area of Coffee Road and Olive Drive resulted in injuries, according to KGET News.

Multi-Vehicle Accident in Bakersfield

Earlier reports indicated multiple vehicles collided at the intersection in Bakersfield on February 16, Thursday. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

Officials mentioned at least one vehicle struck a fire hydrant. The force from the impact broke the fire hydrant, and eventually flooded the streets.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all people found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the victim to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the crash happened at Coffee Road and Olive Drive in Bakersfield.
