4 Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Crash at Highway 184 and Muller Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 18, 2022) – Several were seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 184 and Muller Road in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Now and Kern Golden Empire, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4:37 p.m.
At least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Bakersfield. They crashed on Highway 184 at the intersection with Muller Road.
The California Highway Patrol described the cars as pickup truck and a sedan. One of them rolled over due to the impact of the collision.
Children Victims in Wreck
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two children and two adults who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took all four patients to the hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Officers described them as a male driver of the pickup and the other three as occupants of the sedan. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 184 and Muller Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Bakersfield crash is still under investigation.
