1 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Northbound Highway 99 at Wible Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 23, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 99 and Wible Road in Bakersfield.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place late Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:23 p.m.

CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Bakersfield. They crashed on northbound Highway 99 at Wible Road.

2 Cars Collide

The incident log described the car as two pickup trucks and a sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.

Medical personnel found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the Kern Medical for treatment of minor injuries.

Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound Highway 99 at Wible Road to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Bakersfield crash is still under investigation.
