Major Injury Collision on Interstate 5 Near Copus Eoad Friday
Bakersfield, CA (May 29, 2021) – A car accident occurred on Interstate 5, also known as West Side Freeway, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On May 28, Friday, a solo-vehicle crashed in the southbound side of I-5 Freeway near Copus Road. The make and model of the car involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

Emergency crews arrived at the site at about 5 p.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the injured party pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the collision remained unclear. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident on Interstate 5 Freeway.
