2 Injured in Bakersfield Crash Truxtun Avenue Near Westside Parkway
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 12, 2021) – Two were injured after a car crash on Truxtun Avenue in Bakersfield.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck at around 7:43 p.m.
Bakersfield police said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on Truxtun Avenue near Westside Parkway.
2 Vehicles Collide
A male occupant ended up ejected from a car upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found him and a woman hurt as a result of the collision.
The man sustained moderate injuries while the female patient suffered minor injuries. Medical personnel took at least one of them to a hospital for further aid.
Officials did not release their names and condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced Westside Parkway and Truxtun Avenue to shut down in both directions following the wreck.
