5 Parties Hospitalized
BAKERSFIELD, California (October 12, 2016) – According to an article by ABC 23, seven people, including a child, sustained injuries as a result of a traffic collision on Alfred Harrell Highway Wednesday afternoon.
As per the article, the crash occurred near California Living Museum when a Mazda sedan made an illegal u-turn in front of a Ford truck. Shortly after the 4:16 p.m. accident, emergency crews arrived at the scene and found seven parties hurt.
Among the injured, five people occupying the Mazda, including the driver, were taken to hospitals for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
Meanwhile, both the driver and passenger of the Ford sustained minor injuries that were treated at the site.
Officers later identified the Mazda driver as 29-year-old Roger Davison. Davison was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage causing injury and child endangerment.
Further investigation is ongoing.
