Major Injury Crash on State Route 178
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (June 13, 2023) — A two-vehicle Bakersfield crash on Highway 178 at the Delonegha Day Use Area left one person with major injuries.
The drivers of a black Chevrolet pickup truck and a sedan were involved in the collision, according to the California Highway Patrol. It happened at 2:50 p.m. on June 13th, the report said.
CHP officials reported one person was critically injured in the crash and required paramedics.
The injured person was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Bakersfield crash on Highway 178.
The case remains under investigation.
