Multi-Vehicle Bakersfield Crash on Highway 99
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Nov. 23, 2021) — A Bakersfield crash on Highway 99 between two vehicles happened Tuesday morning near Olive Drive.
The traffic accident happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 99 about 8:57 a.m. on Nov. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a Dodge Dart and a white 4-door Honda collided with a blue Hyundai sedan due to unknown circumstances, the CHP reports.
Paramedics and Kern County firefighters responded to the scene to help those involved. At least one person reported minor injuries due to the collision, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital or treated on scene.
Tow trucks responded to removed the damaged vehicle from the Bakersfield crash scene on Highway 99, police said.
Meanwhile, investigators are heading up an investigation into liability for the Bakersfield collision.
