Bakersfield, Calif. (Dec. 12, 2022) — Two women were injured in a collision at South Union Avenue and Watts Road in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded to the scene about 10:20 p.m. on Dec. 11th in the south Bakersfield area, according to Bakersfield Now.
The two drivers involved were in a blue Honda and a white Ford SUV, police said.
Paramedics responded and located two women ages 24 and 28-years old. The younger woman was driving the Honda and suffered major injuries from the crash. Paramedics transported her to a hospital for further treatment.
The second driver from the Ford suffered minor injuries in the crash. It’s unknown if she was taken to the hospital or treated on scene.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the collision.
