Head-on Collision on Taft Highway in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2025) — At least one person was injured Wednesday night in a head-on crash on Taft Highway at South Union Avenue in southeast Bakersfield.
The traffic accident occurred around 6:04 p.m. on Jan. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a white Honda sedan and black SUV were involved. It’s unknown what preceded the collision that caused one of the motorists to veer into the path of the other one.
Paramedics responded with an ambulance to the crash scene, but it is unknown how many people were treated for injuries.
The Honda sedan had major front-end damage from the collision and required a tow truck.
