Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian at Auburn Street and Catalina Drive Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (November 13, 2021) – One person died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Auburn Street and Catalina Drive Saturday evening.
The KGET News reported a vehicle struck a male party at the busy intersection in northeast Bakersfield. Officials said the horrible crash took place at about 6:15 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian lying unconscious on the ground. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the victim, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the catastrophic incident. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate liability in the deadly pedestrian accident at Auburn Street and Catalina Drive.
