Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman at Truxtun Avenue and Haley Street Friday
Bakersfield, CA (June 18, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of East Truxtun Avenue and Haley Street Friday evening.
The KGET News reported a vehicle struck a female party at the Bakersfield intersection. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the horrible crash remained unknown.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Bakersfield, June 18
Shortly after 10 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and found the pedestrian lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim, but the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the catastrophic incident.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the fatal pedestrian accident at Truxtun Avenue and Haley Street happened.
