Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on Highway 99 Monday
Bakersfield, CA (June 1, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Highway 99 late Monday evening, the KGET News reported.

When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to his injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities described a car involved in the unfortunate event as a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The man behind the wheel of the Cherokee, and the other drivers stopped at the site following the collision.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 99 in Bakersfield.
