1 Hospitalized After Car Crash at Olive Drive and Roberts Lane Tuesday
Bakersfield, CA (February 16, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision in the area of Olive Drive and Roberts Lane Tuesday night.
Auto vs. Dirt Bike Accident in Bakersfield, February 16
The Bakersfield Now reported a non-street legal dirt bike crashed into a white SUV at the Bakersfield intersection. Per local news source, the SUV pulled out of a driveway to head east on Olive Drive. At about the same time, a dirt bike passing by the area T-boned the SUV.
According to the article published online, the operator of the dirt bike suffered injuries as a result of the collision. Because the man was not wearing a helmet, he sustained severe injuries. Responding paramedics transported the patient to a hospital shortly after 8:30 p.m.
Officials mentioned the occupants in the SUV appeared unharmed after the collision.
