2 Killed in Car Accident on Interstate 5 Wednesday
Bakersfield, CA (June 16, 2021) – Two people died, and two others suffered injuries following a car crash on Interstate 5 Wednesday morning, the KGET News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle overturned for an unknown reason on the freeway near Highway 43. During the crash, two occupants from the car were ejected.
Shortly after 11 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the two victims lying unconscious on the ground. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures to the two parties, but they both sadly succumbed to their injuries and died.

Authorities added two other passengers sustained minor to major trauma as a result of the collision.
At this time, the names of the fatal victims and the injured persons remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the fatal car crash on Interstate 5 in Bakersfield.
