BAKERSFIELD, California (October 9, 2014) – A driver of a pickup truck allegedly ran a red traffic light and collided with another vehicle on Olive Drive at State Road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
Police say the driver of the tan 2002 Dodge Ram pickup truck hit the driver of a white Hyundai sedan after failing to stop at a red traffic light about 10:34 a.m., CHP officers said. Paramedics responded to the crash to assist those who were injured.
“Hopefully those injured have a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Police will investigate this crash to determine liability and then they will issue a report with their findings.”
