1 Killed, 2 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Westbound Highway 58
BAKERSFIELD (January 2, 2019) – One was killed and two others were injured after a traffic collision along Highway 58 Sunday evening, on December 30, according to 23 ABC News and Bakersfield Californian.
The accident involving four vehicles took place at around 6:30 p.m., east of Highway 99.
As per the reports, California Highway Patrol said a 2010 Ford was traveling west on Highway 58 when for an unknown reason it rear-ended a 2017 Subaru.

From the No. 3 lane, the Ford then entered the No. 4 lane, where it collided with a 2014 Dodge. The Ford was forced back into the its original lane where it slammed into the back of a 2012 Honda.
The Bakersfield resident driving the Honda was killed as a result of the crash. The two passengers of the Honda were transported to Kern Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries.
The names of both the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
