At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Highway 43 and Pond Road
Bakersfield, CA (April 7, 2022) – A deadly traffic accident occurred in the area of Highway 43 and Pond Road Thursday afternoon.
Deadly 2-Car Accident Near Delano
According to ABC23, two vehicles collided at the busy intersection in Bakersfield. The make and model of the automobiles involved in the catastrophic incident have not been revealed thus far.

When emergency crews arrived, they immediately rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. Our sources later confirmed one person sadly died as a result of the collision. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident at Highway 43 and Pond Road.
