1 Killed in Bakersfield Crash at Rosedale Highway and Renfro Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 28, 2022) – At least one was killed after a car crash at Rosedale Highway and Renfro Road in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Now and 23 ABC News, the tragic accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck at around 6:45 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Bakersfield. They crashed at the intersection of Rosedale Highway and Renfro Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars a white Ford pickup truck and black BMW 3 Series. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officers the eastbound lanes of Rosedale Highway to shut down near Renfro Road for two hours following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Bakersfield crash is still under investigation.
