Bakersfield Fatal Crash 7th Standard Road and Gossamer Grove Boulevard

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (March 10, 2025) — A fatal crash happened Saturday afternoon at 7th Standard Road and Gossamer Grove Boulevard in the northwest Bakersfield area.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:38 p.m. on March 8, 2025, according to a press release by the Shafter Police Department.

The circumstances leading up to the collision were not disclosed in the police report.

One driver suffered major injuries and died following the accident.
