Deadly 3-Car Accident Wednesday Morning
BAKERSFIELD (June 13, 2018)– According to Bakersfield Now News, a deadly 3-car collision sadly left one person dead and several others injured Wednesday morning at the intersection of Wilson and Wible roads.
At roughly 5:55 a.m., Bakersfield police officials responded to crash site where a black Honda, a pickup truck with an attached trailer, and a third undisclosed vehicle.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver of the black Honda had been heading westbound on Wilson Road before colliding with the pickup truck which had been traveling northbound. The pickup truck then careened into the third vehicle.
Edgar Eduardo Rojas Dead, 2 Injured
Authorities confirmed the driver of the Honda identified as Edgar Eduardo Rojas, 24, who tragically died at the scene. There appeared to have been no passengers riding with the victim.
Meanwhile, both the pickup truck driver and the other motorist suffered minor injuries but elected to not be transported to a hospital by ambulance and sought to seek out their own treatment.
It remains unclear which motorist caused the accident as the collision remains under investigation.
