 Bakersfield Fatal Hit-and-run Bicycle Accident on Brundage Lane

Man Riding Bicycle Struck, Killed in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (April 5, 2023) — A fatal hit-and-run bicycle accident happened on Brundage Lane Monday night in Bakersfield.

Now Bakersfield police are searching for the suspect who fled after hitting the bicycle rider around 11 p.m. on April 3rd, according to Bakersfield Now.

Police responded to the 2900 block of East Brundage Lane where they located the bicyclist with major injuries. Paramedics responded, but the man died at the scene.

Meanwhile, authorities are working on the case and searching for the suspect who struck the westbound bicycle rider.

Authorities do not know whether speed or alcohol were factors in the bicycle accident on Brundage Lane.
