Motorcyclist Killed in Crash at Calloway Drive and Brimhall Road
BAKERSFIELD (December 16, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed after a traffic collision in the area of Calloway Drive and Brimhall Road Sunday afternoon, according to Kern Golden Empire and Bakersfield Californian.
The accident was reported on December 16 at about 1:42 p.m.
As per the reports, Bakersfield police said a man was riding a motorcycle north on Calloway Drive when at the same time a Ford Fusion was traveling south.
The male driver of the car then turned on eastbound Brimhall Road, allegedly failing to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist.

The two then ultimately collided at the intersection.
Police affirmed that the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the motorist in the Ford stopped after the crash and cooperated with the authorities. The incident remains under investigation.
