Several Injured in Bakersfield Hit-and-Run at Niles and Sterling
BAKERSFIELD (December 25, 2018) – Several were injured after an alleged hit-and-run crash in the area of Niles Street and Sterling Road early Tuesday, according to Bakersfield Now.
The accident took place at around 2 a.m. near the Amstar Gas Station.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said at least two vehicles were confirmed to have collided at the intersection of Niles Street and Sterling Road.
One car rolled over and almost plowed into a building while the other vehicle struck and knock down a gas price sign as a result of the crash.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the site and attended to multiple people who were left wounded following the wreck.
All patients were transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to major degree. The total number of the victims and their names and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, one of the drivers involved allegedly did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
