Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Colin B Kelly Drive and Roberts Lane Thursday
Bakersfield, CA (August 26, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run collision occurred in the area of Colin B Kelly Drive and Roberts Lane Thursday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual at the Bakersfield intersection.
Emergency teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 11:13 p.m. First responders found at the scene an adult white female with injuries. Authorities added the victim was wearing a black tank top, and a backpack. Medical personnel reportedly rendered aid to the injured pedestrian. At this time, the name of the victim, and their condition remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned the driver involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the suspect.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Colin B Kelly Drive and Roberts Lane.
