KCSO Van Involved in Collision at Golden State Avenue and Airport Drive Thursday
Bakersfield, CA (February 3, 2022) – A traffic accident involving a Kern County Sheriff’s Office transportation van occurred in the area of Golden State Avenue and Airport Drive.
The KGET News reported the KCSO transportation van collided with another vehicle at the intersection in Bakersfield. Per article published online, the van was transporting an inmate when the crash happened.

Following the collision, the other vehicle apparently fled the scene heading south on Golden State Avenue. Officials described the hit-and-run car as a white four-door sedan. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Meanwhile, detectives mentioned the deputy on board the KCSO transportation van appeared unharmed after the incident.
Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash at Golden State Avenue and Airport Drive in Bakersfield.
