At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident at Sterling Road and Deacon Avenue Friday
Bakersfield, CA (January 5, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol reported a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Sterling Road and Deacon Avenue.
Initial records indicated a black Honda car collided with another vehicle of unknown make and model.
CHP logged the accident shortly after 12:40 a.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the crash site, they immediately rendered aid to the possible victims. After paramedics conducted an evaluation, they confirmed at least one person from the Honda car suffered injuries in the wreck.
Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the victim pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, our sources confirmed the driver of the other car involved int the collision fled the scene. Information on the hit-and-run suspect have not been revealed thus far.
