
Bakersfield hit-and-run Olive Knudsen
1 Injured in Bakersfield Hit-and-Run Crash at Olive Drive and Knudsen Drive
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 13, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Olive Drive and Knudsen Drive in Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:04 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Bakersfield. A driver slammed into the rear of the other car at the intersection of Olive Drive and Knudsen Drive.
Car Collision Near Highway 99
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 99. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim who sustained unspecified injuries following the wreck. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a motorist involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. The suspect pulled into the Vagabond Inn Bakersfield North following the collision.
Authorities are still investigating the Bakersfield hit-and-run crash.
