Juvenile Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Ross Street Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (April 19, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run accident that occurred on Ross Street in Bakersfield.
On April 17, Saturday, a vehicle struck an individual in the 126 block of Ross Street in Bakersfield. The collision took place near Virginia Elementary School. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the crash have not been revealed thus far.
Officials briefly described the pedestrian as a juvenile. However, the name of the victim and their exact age remained undisclosed. Medical personnel arrived at the scene shortly after 7:15 p.m. Paramedics attended to the juvenile, and later determined they sustained injuries as a result of the crash.

Meanwhile, authorities confirmed the motorist involved in the collision fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Ross Street is underway.
