BAKERSFIELD: Major Injury Motorcycle and Pedestrian Accident on Palm Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., (Sept. 25, 2026) — A major injury crash involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian occurred early Friday morning in the Rosedale area of Bakersfield at Palm Avenue and Jewetta Avenue.

The collision was reported on Sept. 25th at approximately 2:12 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Paramedics responded to the scene to help at least one or both of those involved due to major injuries.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene by 2:24 a.m., where they administered aid to the involved parties. Further details regarding the identities and conditions of the individuals involved have not been released at this time.

Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are seeking further information from witnesses. The CHP has not yet disclosed whether any charges have been filed in connection with the collision.
