BAKERSFIELD: Minivan, Pickup Crash on Stockdale Highway at I-5 Freeway

2-Vehicle Car Accident on Stockdale Highway in Kern County

KERN COUNTY, Calif. (March 19, 2025) — A minivan and pickup truck were involved in a crash Wednesday on the Stockdale Highway overpass at the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway in Bakersfield.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 7:18 a.m. on March 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials responded to the collision on the overpass above the I-5 Freeway.

Paramedics were also sent to the crash site to help those injured, but there are no further details at this time.

Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the Bakersfield crash on Stockdale Highway.
