KERN COUNTY, Calif. (June 13, 2023) — A Bakersfield motorcycle accident happened Tuesday at Merle Haggard Drive and Wishon Drive.
The traffic accident occurred around 7:39 a.m. on June 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Toyota Prius and a motorcycle collided due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded and located the rider suffering from moderate injuries. Fire crews were stopped on the northeast coroner of Merle Haggard and Wishon drives.
An ambulance transported the injured motorcyclist to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged bike from the intersection.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on Merle Haggard Drive.
The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
