Motorcyclist Down with Major Injuries on Edison Highway
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (August 21, 2024) — A motorcycle accident happened Tuesday on Edison Highway in Bakersfield California near Sterling Road in Kern County.
The traffic accident occurred at around 4:59 PM on Tuesday evening on August 20th 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcyclist and a maroon vehicle collided into one another in Bakersfield California. Due to the impact of the crash, flying debris caused a major traffic hazard in the highway. The CHP reported that the motorcycle rider was lying in the roadway. Fortunately, the rider was conscious and moving after the collision. Meanwhile, both the eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked on Edison Highway.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the motorcycle accident on Edison Highway in Bakersfield.
