Motorcycle Officer Injured in Collision at Coffee and Rosedale
Bakersfield, CA (January 28, 2023) – A California Highway Patrol officer suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Coffee Road and Rosedale Highway.
According to KGET News, a CHP officer was riding a motorbike heading east through the intersection in northwest Bakersfield. Earlier reports indicated the officer had a green light and entered the crossing. Another vehicle drove into the intersection against a red light, and collided with the motorcycle officer.
The crash took place on January 27, Friday.
Shortly after 11:45 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered first aid to the injured officer, then transported him to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The name of the patient, and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.
